Width, length and weight: how big should your chain be?
Width sets the presence, length sets where it sits, and together they set the gold weight, which is the biggest part of the price. Compare widths in the Cuban link width guide.

- Share your idea. Fill out the form, or call or text 321-521-4651, and book a free consultation in our Miami store or by phone, text or email. Photos and screenshots help.
- Details and quote. We go over link, width, length, karat, color, stones and lock, and confirm the details and the cost before anything is made.
- Design. For custom designs, we present a realistic digital render of your piece, like the 3D design preview below.
- Your approval. You confirm the final specifications (length, width, karat, stones and any engraving) before production begins.
- Crafting. Our craftsmen make your piece in gold. Cuban links from 7mm up are made in Miami, each link soldered and hand-filed.
- Ready to wear. We hand deliver it or ship it fully insured.

Graduated U-link chain: the CAD
14K gold, 22 in, graduated from 12 mm down to 9 mm, approx. 105–115 g from the CAD, with a hidden lock. Compare that with a listed 12mm Cuban at 22 in, approx. 245 g. The same length, about half the gold. The link design matters as much as the width, which is why we quote each design on its own.

Caring for your chain
- Clean it gently: warm water, a drop of mild soap and a soft brush, then dry it well.
- Take it off for the pool, hot tub, harsh cleaners and heavy workouts.
- Store it on its own, and have iced stones checked from time to time.
- White gold: rhodium re-plating and polishing are maintenance services, quoted separately.

- Timeline: handmade Cubans typically take 3–4 weeks; other custom pieces approximately 4–6 weeks. These are estimates, not guarantees.
- After you submit: we contact you to set up your free consultation by phone, text, email or in store.
- You approve first: you approve the render and the final specs before production.
- Paying: we go over payment with you when we confirm the cost. Pay over time with Affirm, Klarna or Afterpay: 0% APR plans for those who qualify, subject to approval. Financing options. You can also ask us about layaway; under its published terms, layaway plans are completed within 12 months, payments are not refunded in cash, and the remaining balance follows metal prices.

Can I see my chain before it is made?
Yes. For custom designs we show you a digital render, and you confirm the final specifications (length, width, karat, stones and any engraving) before production begins. The jaguar bangle video on this page is an example of a 3D design preview.
What width Cuban link chain should I get?
It depends on your build and how much presence you want. 7–8mm reads clean every day, 10mm is bold, and 12mm and up is a heavy statement. Going from 8mm to 12mm roughly doubles the gold. Compare sizes in the Cuban link width guide, or visit us for a consultation.
How heavy is a 10mm Cuban link chain?
Our 14K handmade 10mm Miami Cuban has a listed weight of approx. 170 g at 22 in and approx. 185 g at 24 in. The same design in 18K weighs more, and in 10K less. More widths and lengths in the Cuban link chain weight chart.
Moissanite or diamonds for an iced chain?
Both work. Moissanite (9.25 on the Mohs scale) gives a lot of sparkle for less. Lab-grown diamonds are real diamonds, with the same chemistry and hardness (10) as natural ones. Do you make custom bracelets?
Yes: Cuban link bracelets, iced or with stations, tennis bracelets, anchor and infinity bracelets, and bangles like the jaguar bangle on this page. For fit, measure your wrist snugly and add 0.5 in for a snug fit, 0.75 in for comfort or 1 in for a loose fit. Wide or iced links (10mm and up) take room inside the bracelet, so lean toward the looser end. Between two sizes, go longer. See Cuban link bracelets.
Can I return a custom chain?
Custom pieces are made to your exact specifications, so they are final sale once production begins: no returns, exchanges, refunds or cancellation. Is there a warranty?
Custom designs and diamond-set pieces are covered for one year against manufacturing defects, and repairs from normal wear are honored; our workshop assesses each case. Handmade Cuban link chains and bracelets carry a limited lifetime craftsmanship warranty. Resizing, polishing and rhodium re-plating are maintenance services. Terms are in our policy.
