Why choose an oval?
An oval spreads its carat weight over a long outline, so it looks larger face-up than a round diamond of the same weight, and its length makes the finger look slimmer. It has the sparkle of a brilliant cut with softer, rounded ends.
Every oval center here is lab-grown and comes with an IGI grading report that lists its exact measurements. Pick the carat, gold color and karat above; the price on each design updates as you go.
Oval size by carat
Typical face-up size of an oval center stone (length × width). Your stone's exact size is on its IGI report.
- 1 ct: about 8.1 × 5.7 mm
- 1.5 ct: about 9.3 × 6.5 mm
- 2 ct: about 10.2 × 7.1 mm (a 2 ct round is about 8.1 mm across)
- 2.5 ct: about 10.9 × 7.7 mm
- 3 ct: about 11.6 × 8.2 mm
- 4 ct: about 12.8 × 9.0 mm

Questions
Does an oval look bigger than a round diamond of the same carat?
Usually, yes. At 2 ct an oval is about 10.2 × 7.1 mm face-up, while a 2 ct round is about 8.1 mm across. The exact measurements of your stone are on its IGI report.
What carat sizes can I choose?
Choose the carat on each ring page; the options vary by design. Want a bigger stone than you see? Call or text 321-521-4651 and we will quote it.
Which setting styles come with an oval center?
Use the style tiles above (solitaire, hidden halo, halo, pavé and side-stone, three-stone) to see the oval designs in each style.
Is a lab-grown oval a diamond?
Yes. A lab-grown diamond is diamond, the same material as a mined diamond, grown in a controlled environment instead of mined. Every oval center stone here is lab-grown and comes with an IGI grading report.
How long does an oval ring take?
Each ring is made to order after you choose the carat, quality and metal. Plan on about 3 weeks; the ring page shows the estimated ship-by date for today's order.
Can I return it?
Rings from our Engagement Rings collection can be returned within 30 days of delivery, unworn, unresized and unengraved, with a free insured return label (U.S.). Choose 100% store credit, or a refund minus a 10% restocking fee (maximum $400). Full details: Return & Refund Policy (Section 3A).
